We invest a lot of blood, sweat, tears and money into our homes. Panels/breakers wear out with use like anything else and power demands can be high these days.
When doing a renovation, strongly consider investing in a new panel and make sure your service is sized for the power requirements needed now and for the future. At the very least, have your current panel serviced to make sure there are no hot spots or damaged components.
All new vehicles as of 2030 sold will be electric. Charging them slowly is a big inconvenience. Before finishing off your space, think about providing a rough in for future EV chargers. At the very least, adding an empty conduit or raceway of some kind to accommodate a future install is a wise idea.
New homes require this to be considered. You should consider it too during your next reno.
